I learned the “birthday lesson” years ago and in 1995 invited 10 of my best girlfriends to come for dinner to help me celebrate. None of them knew the others; I was the only link–and what a great time we had! They all became friends as well, and we continue to gather every year in March. Over the years the faces have changed a little (not our FACES of course, we haven’t aged at all!) as women moved, we lost one friend to breast cancer, and we added some new friends. I look forward to it all year!

May you have many friends to help you celebrate life!
