Jane, so glad I signed on to get your updates/news. I love being an entrepeneur, it is exciting and scary at the same time.
What I love the most is that because I am doing something I truly believe in it keeps me going forward. I know from the center of my being that all I have to do is put one foot in front of the other and "just do it".
When I am in the perfect frame of mind I don't believe in road-blocks I really do see them as challenges and opportunities. Sometimes I am so happy I feel guilty, but there are other times where I know that it all rests on my shoulders and I am responsible for my choices. Either way it is an adventure.
Being an entrepeneur is a wonderful lesson in life.

I could have written the exact same thoughts. Thanks for articulating them so clearly and honestly. Being an entrepreneur is what I am/do. Inseparable. Thank goodness.

I LOVE being an entrepreneur (most of the time). I am control freak so, ultimately what I like is the control factor. I also like the degree of personal responsibility. When something goes well, I can congratulate myself and know that I made that happen. When something doesn't go that well, I can learn from it and commit to doing better next time. I know that the amount of business I have is largely a result of my efforts and I can choose to change that if I want. Or I can keep my workload within my own boundaries.

Sometimes I hate being alone and having to do it all, but then I realize that being an entrepreneur is my destiny (really, it is the best situation for me), and so I take a deep breath and try to accept the challenges with the benefits.

And, when I think of myself as a woman entrepreneur, I feel like a special kind of person. Can't beat that!
