Thank you so much for sharing this blog entry with all of us. Placing other individuals on a pedestal is a behavior that we all experience from time to time. The important thing for us to recognize is that we do it and to examine why we have placed that person in the position. It really is a disservice to them as no one can remain perched there forever and when there is a slip we both suffer. It is enough to be inspired by others but more important for each of us to embrace creating our own paths. Again, thank you sharing this important topic.

We often tend to confuse emulating and being inspired by. Emulating someone leads to the slippery slope of envy. We can never know what is really going on in someone’s life. Thank you for this blog.
