I’d love to hear what signs you receive, Elizabeth. I offer the alternative methodology, which is to write your vision starting with a sentence like, “It’s January 2014 and what a year it’s been–my best ever!” Then describe in excruciating detail exactly what happened. Again, you’ll be amazed at how much of it comes true. Have a friend hold onto it for a year, then mail it to you on the ‘due’ date.

I’m so left-brained that a vision board has never called to me, but the older I get, and the more I realize that creativity can manifest in words and not just in visual arts, the more I realize there’s a right brain in me longing to be acknowledged .

So reading this is the Universe’s first shot across the bow. I’ll bet I get confirmation soon that a vision board is in my near future.

Thank you for your wonderful reminder of the power of putting your vision out there. I really like the comment you made that you received confirmation that you are on the right path without asking! I think that is the thing. The story I make up is that BECAUSE you are so committed to your current path, the confirmation comes without having to ask. So what that inspires me to do is to keep digging deeper in to my intuition and my biggest dreams and TRUST those… because when I do, things start to flow… without having to ask.

P.S. I just did my own (and first) vision board about 4 months ago and I can sense my life flowing towards the images I have put out there.

you’ve incited me to share what has manifested in my life recently. my vision board creating has been nominal/would like it to be more, as I believe very much in the power of it, as you say.
however, i too have recently manifested a very big change in my life, which I do feel has been acknowledged with “winks” …I like that. It entailed making the decision to sell our family home of 13 years and determining a geographic location for my new home that would work for me personally and professionally. It has indeed been a process, that I would say started almost 2 years ago….that time when I realized that I knew that selling the family house in Maine was the first right thing to do.
Everything, in time, fell into place following. House sold in April,(to an absolutely lovely family) and after some bopping around, I landed very nicely on the Eastern Shore of MD, in a small cul de sac neighborhood (hadn’t had neighbors in over 20 years/something I knew I wanted) but in a rural setting (which I wasn’t so ready to give up completely) where my morning run takes me past soy bean fields and to the shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay (water very important to me too). A generous office space, master bedroom, kitchen and family room (all key) and a manageable back yard border lined by weeping willows (more nature!) An easy drive/train ride to NYC (where husband lives) and High Point NC (my biz based) and yes, it seems like I am where I am supposed to be….as it appears to be the same for you Jane. Glad you are enjoying your new environs as much as you are and that those “winks” keep popping up.Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing that Jane! I started another vision board this week during the hurricane…..before I read your blog! I’m so inspired by them and enjoy l creating them! I also noticed that so much of what I put on my boards have actually came to me! You are a wonderful teacher and your webinar truly inspired me! I’m grateful for all the valuable tools you gave me! Still using them! Congratulations on your latest move to the city, it seems that is where you were meant to be! The UNIVERSE is AMAZING! :O)
